By downloading or using Ghostly ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. The service
Ghostly shows publicly available information about public social media accounts, including recent follows and unfollows we detect over time. Detection depends on public data being available and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. The gender split and "Red Flag Score" are automated estimates provided for entertainment only and must not be relied on to make decisions about any person.
Ghostly is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. All trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old and able to form a binding contract.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Ghostly to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate or harm anyone; to violate anyone's privacy or any law; to scrape, resell or redistribute data from the app; or to interfere with or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
4. Subscriptions
- Some features require a paid subscription (currently weekly or yearly). Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
5. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, mascot and content are owned by Ghostly and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use under these terms and the applicable app store's standard end-user license.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any particular follow or unfollow will be detected.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghostly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. We may modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is established. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
